The EU S3FOOD project supports European food processors towards their transition to Industry 4.0. Recently a call was opened to promote the digital change in the food industry. Successful small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can receive a grant of up to €60,000.
Companies can apply for different types of vouchers, depending on the theme and the development stage of their innovations. In addition to providing travel support to events, S3FOOD now also offers vouchers for exploration, validation and application of digital solutions.
To be considered for funding, SMEs must be either based in one of the S3FOOD partner regions or a member of one of the partner clusters. Their digitalisation idea must also fall into one of four categories – sensors for real-time monitoring, sensor integration, smart data management or connectivity – while addressing a specific food processing challenge.
Check out the S3FOOD website to learn more about the funding vouchers. SMEs based in The Netherlands can contact Simon Maas, project manager S3FOOD for AgriFood Capital for more information: firstname.lastname@example.org.
